OCHCH has partnered with ACHC to bring you this educational program.

This webinar session will provide valuable insight into the dynamic aspects of palliative care. Understand the history, characteristics, and the patient qualifications related to this specialized medical care.

We will also discuss palliative care in comparison to hospice and the benefits palliative care in a community setting can provide to patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare system.

Becky Tolson, RN, BS
Clinical Compliance Educator at Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC)
Home Health, Home Care, Home Infusion Therapy, and Palliative Care Programs

Becky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration for management and marketing. She has a background in healthcare consulting for home health and home care agencies across the country. She’s been involved in the formation of agency policies and procedures as well as marketing materials and strategies to include website development, agency brochures, and patient education for start-up companies. Her current role involves providing comprehensive clinical, accreditation, and industry education to healthcare providers and surveyors. She oversees the development of educational tools to include webinars, conference sessions, policies, and audit tools for accreditation survey preparation.
